File Setup Information

 

Paper Size

  • North American standard Sizes.

    • Letter (8.5” x 11”)

    • Legal (8.5” x 14”)

    • Tabloid (11” x 17”)

  • International Standard Size:

    • A4 (8 1/4 x 11 3/4).

    • Only North American and few South American countries use Letter Size (8.5” x 11”) as standard paper size.

Bleed

If your page contents to go all the way to the edge of the page, that is what we call “full bleed”. This is achieved by cutting off the white margins. If you want your print to be “full bleed”, please make sure nothing important is within the outer 1/8th inch of the file, to allow for cutting.

 

File Format

PDF format files are the best for printing.

A PDF displays the exact same content and layout no matter which operating system, device or software application it is viewed on.

We recommend our customers to prepare in PDF Format.

 

Single or Double Sided?

At Net Plaza, for color double sided print, we use 28lb paper rather than 20lb paper at no extra charge for better quality. This is because double-sided colour prints look bad on 20lb paper due to the other side showing through the thin paper.
